The Shinty Shop -
The sale of products in this shop helps to support the activities of the Northern California Camanachd Club (NCCC), the first US club dedicated to the Scottish sport of Shinty. Right now these fundraising items include a specially recorded CD (see Bayside & Benside below), t-shirts, a mug, and coasters. Beehaus Musick -
This shop is dedicated to the Beehaus Musick label run by Michael Bentley, a label oriented towards acoustic music in the Scottish tradition. Their first release, Bayside & Benside, was put together as a fundraiser for the NCCC and features contributions from Aaron Shaw (Wicked Tinkers), Hamewith (lead by John Taylor), Molly's Revenge, Beth Patterson, Susan Worland (Fiddlesticks & Ivory), Calli Morrow, Lyle Ramshaw (Fiddlesticks & Ivory), Lawrence Drummond, Joe Weed, and Michael Bentley.
Red Thistle Music - The items in this shop are part of the work of the Red Thistle Dancers, a non-profit organization performing the dances and music of Scotland throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and at international festivals. The sale of these items helps to support the Red Thistle Dancers' effort to present Scottish traditions to audiences here in Northern California and beyond.
