Liosta Luchd-ionnsachaidh is a vocabulary of Scottish Gaelic words for anyone and everyone with an interest in the language and culture of the Gaels and Gaeldom. It is also an ideal product for someone starting out on a career in modern Scottish Gaelic. This book is 340 8.5" X 11" pages in size and contains over 26,000 headwords. The list includes the latest recommendations from Gaelic Orthographic Conventions (GOC) 2005 as well as the older spellings to enable the user to work with the original word-forms as well. Each headword that has been entered is followed by its respective declensions, comparisons or conjugations, usages and meaning(s). This amounts to a text that is well over 320,000 words translating from Gaelic to English throughout and enables the user to read and understand modern Gaelic texts almost immediately.
